Phenolic Profiling of Five Different Australian Grown Apples

Apples (Malus domestica) are one of the most widely grown and consumed fruits in world that contain abundant phenolic compounds possess remarkable antioxidant potential. The current study characterised from five different varieties Australian apples (Royal Gala, Pink Lady, Red Delicious, Fuji Smitten) using LC-ESI-QTOF-MS/MS quantified through HPLC-PDA. content potential were determined various assays. Delicious had highest total (121.78 ± 3.45 mg/g fw) flavonoid (101.23 3.75 among apple samples. In analysis, a 97 samples, including Royal Gala (37), Lady (54), (17), (67) Smitten (46). HPLC quantification, acid (chlorogenic acid, 15.69 0.09 (quercetin, 18.96 0.08 Gala. obtained results highlight importance as rich source functional with bioactivity.
